Exodus 15:26

52 Healing Scriptures – Healing Belongs to Us

Exodus 15:26 (NKJV)

and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

When the children of Israel crossed the Red Sea God made an everlasting promise to them.  His request was simple.

“Keep My commandments.”

Their obedience would be reciprocated with the blessing of divine health. Do you know that this promise is also for you and me?

The Israelites are physical children of Abraham but we are His spiritual children. We are entitled to the same promises. Every promise made to Abraham and the children of Israel belong to us. All ‘born-again believers’ receive the promise of divine health when we are saved.

Really !!??

Yes!

Every last one of us who confessed Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior,  are entitled. To retain it we must obey His commands.

Crossing through the waters has significant spiritual symbolism.  It’s a shadow of salvation that comes through the shed blood of Jesus and the renewal through water baptism. After the children of Israel crossed the Sea, the waters covered their enemies and washed them away. This how the blood of Jesus washes away our sin and sets us free from the devices of Satan. As Micah 7:19 says You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea”.  He casts them away from His presence and us. He also does not remember them any more.

Hebrews 10:17 (AMP)

And their sins and their lawless acts I will remember no more [no longer holding their sins against them].”

Water baptism represents passing from death to eternal life. By it we participate in Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection. Just as He was given a new body so are we given a new body.

John 3: 3, 5 (AMP)
3 Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” Jesus answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone his in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold all things have become new.

Old things have passed. We are now entitled to divine health. All God requires is for us to walk in love.  We are to love Him and our fellow man as we love ourselves. That gives all citizens of the Kingdom of God the right to petition heaven for divine health. Divine health allows freedom from sickness and diseases for the rest of our physical life.

To walk in the love of God, we must renew our minds with the Word of God daily. Meditating on it must be more important than our daily meal(s).  We must also follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.  He will bring the Word back to our memory and nudge us when our actions are not in agreement with the commands of God.

1 John 3:14-15,18
We know have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.  He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

John 13:34
A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Romans 13:10
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which is the great commandments in the law?” 37:Jesus said to Him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  38:This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the Prophets.

Please read 1 Corinthians 13 the magna carta of love.
