Healing Meditation – Your Faith Has Made You Well

Matthew 9:22
But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

“Your faith has made you well”.

Jesus’ statement, to the woman with the issue of blood, teaches that we must be open to receive healing from God before it is granted.  We must desire healing above everything. The greater our faith, the quicker we may receive our healing.

The woman with the issue of blood pulled her healing from him. She pressed forward in the crowd and without uttering a word, touched His clothes.  Most people believed He could only heal them by laying hands on them (Matthew 9:18). She was bold. She dare believe God for something greater.

The clothes had no special power.  The power and presence of God was on him, in him and working through him to heal and deliver all who would receive of it.  It was the presence of the Holy Spirit on Him that responded to the magnitude of her faith.

Healing was demanded so the Holy Spirit released the gift of healing. The demand was in complete agreement with the desire of God to feed us this daily bread.

Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 11:22-24
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Matthew 15:24-28
But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
