The Plant You Did Not Know

There was a time in February 2015 when I was losing hope. I was having a rough time. I was undergoing an intense time of testing. The process the Lord was taking me through had me isolated, broke and frustrated.

I was going about my business when the Holy Spirit said:

“Bush Lupin”

I listened as He repeated it. Then I googled it and found that it was a flowering plant. It gives off a sweet odor, is a very strong plant and can grow in very arid places, such as deserts. It is used as an ornamental plant in landscaping but chiefly for its ability to keep predators at bay. Animals avoid it because it can be toxic to them. Some animals are also repelled by its smell. Yet it also provides protection for some animals. The mission blue butterfly becomes toxic when it feeds on it. The toxicity does not harm the butterfly. It protects it from predators.

When I asked him how this applies to me, He said this.

“You can survive in very arid places because your root is deep. The depths of the root is founded in Me. The plant requires very little water to survive after its roots grow. So do you.”

Now this blessed me. Not much more was said. I went through the process and am happy for it.

Now today September 19, 2016, the Lord gave me this revelation for you.

Revelation

Do not look at the situation you face. You are able to flourish. Your source does not come from outside. It is within. The power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit is at your disposal.

The bush lupin is toxic, if consumed in a large quantity. There must be balance. Its harmful effect on livestock and humans comes from an excess. So is it with life in the spirit. If there is no balance you will ‘blow up’. Persons such as Alexander Dowie, the miracle worker, did not have balance. He became consumed by the operation of the Holy Spirit and pride found place in him. Pride lead to insanity. Another healer, Amy McPherson also did not have balance. She spent a lot of time ministering to others and her health was affected. It caused her to die early. Maintaining a life of balance is important.

Humans are both physical and spiritual. You must be balanced. The things of the spirit cannot be pursued at the neglect of everything else. There is a time for prayer and there is a time for work. After you have sought and claimed your miracle or turnaround and sowed your seed, there must be movement. You must get up. There must be an act of faith. Nothing is received from heaven without your participation.

Form your roots deep in Me. Solidify it with the Word (See Joshua 1:6-8). Now get up and do what has been laid on your heart. Expect great miracles in your life!

People who do not see transformation are those who live out their fear. Fear will cripple you and cause you not to move. It will hold you in place. Do not listen to this voice. It comes to kill your dreams.

If you have made sacrifices for the children, after they have grown, go back and do the things you wanted to do. Do not spend your life babysitting them. Prepare them for adulthood. Then allow them to take charge of their life.

Notice how an eagle works with her children. The nest is built on the edge of a cliff. Food and fierce protection is given while the eaglets are growing. When they come of age, they are pushed out of the nest. They must fly to survive. The children are forced to use what they have been given. Survival requires that they use their wings. Failure to use it will result in them falling to the ground and dying. If they do not get it the first time, the mother swoops down to catch them. She then repeats the process. It is repeated until they get it.

Everyone must have a plan for their life. If you have a child or children plan for them but remember there is life after the children. Plan for that. Do not be so caught up with the daily toil that you do not take time out to make a plan. Constantly review it. As they get older start working on it. Seek divine guidance.

Christians have access to divine wisdom. If you have received the Holy Spirit, you have wisdom. You do not have to beg for it. You do not have to fast for it. Acknowledge that you have received what rested on Jesus. What you receive is clearly outlined in Isaiah 11:2 “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord”. Know for a fact that this is what rests on you. Your mind is forever changed. Yes! My friend, you have received wisdom, understanding, knowledge, might, the counsel of the Holy Spirit and the reverential fear of the Lord God Almighty.

Declaration of War

For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.     Proverbs 24:6

At our disposal is the whole intelligence, counsel and might of the omnipotent and omniscient God. Omnipotent means all powerful. Omniscient means His understanding and knowledge is infinite. He knows the past, the present and future. You need no other to wage war!

Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.     Psalm 147:5

Faith requires that you move towards the future with hope and a plan. Seek the Lord, set objectives. Things that are achievable. There is tangible evidence of the results you expect to achieve. Do not base them on your present circumstances. Set a destination. What do you want to become? What do you want to achieve? Take baby steps if you must. Do not stop for anything. Keep moving. One day you will look around and see that you have built a beautiful castle in a desert. Not from sand but from an unshakable foundation.

Bush lupin, do not watch the predators, the naysayers and haters. Focusing your attention on them only adds dead weight to you. Why worry about them. You are built to kill predators.

Do not lose hope in this time. I know things look hopeless. You were built for this! Come on bush lupin! Push! I dare you to bloom!
